Kinetics of Co(II) Extraction in Co(II)<sup> </sup>-SO<sub>4</sub><sup>2-</sup>( H<sup>+</sup>, Na<sup>+</sup>)-[C<sub>8</sub>H<sub>17</sub>NH<sub>3</sub>][Cyanex 272]-sulfonated Kerosene System Using the Single Drop Falling Technique

In this research, the kinetics of Co(II) extraction from sulfate medium by system “[C8H17NH3][Cyanex 272]+diluent sulfonated kerosene” were investigated using single drop falling technique. The time formation and coalescence was determined for calculating transfer flux. influences aqueous pH, concentration [C8H17NH3][Cyanex 272] on revised Co(II)-transfer flux (F') with aim obtaining reaction orders rate equations. With conditions 0.24 mol/L, temperature 298 ± 0.5 K normal atmospheric pressure, activation energies (Ea) pH 3.0, 4.0 5.0 are 3.45, 3.83 5.17 kJ/mol, respectively. equations calculated listed in our research based different 5.0. is a diffusion control process according to values Ea. details studies simulated solution significant optimize its processes.
